Author Topic: i just told my parents everything concerning my internet life  (Read 4192 times)

I keep my PC life to my self...otherwise I'd have no PC to use...if you get what i mean.

Holy stuff Op is rookie!

Yeah it was better to just spill the beans, I guess. Living under a lie is...notasogood
Lets gangbang dez!

How depressed did we really make you that your parents had to get involved?

I keep my online life exclusive to myself, save a couple people irl. It's for the better.

My parents know that I browse the forums and whatnot, and if I remember correctly, my dad browsed my posts though.

Although he abruptly gave me a high-five, I can safely assume that they don't have any problems with it.

Wow, your dad is cool.
:D

I imagine you kept that part about a rainbow pony being your waifu to yourself during this, didn't you, OP?

I've been doing a ton of stuff on the internet and my parents are fine with it.

Everyone knows i'm a furry and doesn't mind it.
I'm sure my parents would know if they have any idea what a furry is.
But it's not something I see a need to tell/explain

I've told my mom about my internet life. She's cool with it. Occasionally she'll talk to my friends or yell into my room "Hi -whoever-!". Hell, she's even thinking about organizing some kindof meetup with them. I guess that's because the internet is a positive influence to me, not negative.

I've never had any real need to disclose the detailed side of these forums to my parents, nor have my parents ever asked me to.

They know I use it and that I'm on it semi-regularly, and that I have a few friends who have developed through it and Blockland, but that's all they care for. They're able to trust that I don't do stupid stuff, like give money to people or send pictures or what not.

My parents probably don't know much about my internet life.

All they know about it is that it's the only thing I like to use to interact with people, because I've met a lot of people in real life and they're all twats.
