Author Topic: My Raspberry Pi came in today :D  (Read 2029 times)

and can run doom 3 with resonable fps!
stuff really?
$25?

this has to be a lie.

I want one, yet i don't. I'd probably just end up using it to do other stuff while using my main computer.

I imagine that this could probably be a useful and cheap way to stream web content like Netflix etc.

I have a question, could that thing run club penguin with no lag? My brother really enjoys the game but he is 5 and doesn't have a computer. So if i bought this for him would he be able to play?

was thinking more along the lines of...

cool

..what's the point of having one, again?

i imagine it would have to do with your internet connection, seeing as Club Penguin is essentially a flash browser game.

Whoah

Aaannyyways everything you need is in the Raspberry pi article of the Robot Magazine

It's a shame that 80% of games won't run on linux.

Did you order it off Farnell or RS? I can't seem to find an sd card with Linux included on RS. I'll probably be gettin one, regardless.

I do feel Raspberry today.

could it be used to run old console roms? (i dunno if/how there are snes/ps1 emulators for linux)
like at what quality of games could it handle
