Author Topic: Why would I "Quit" Blockland?  (Read 2409 times)

Nym's Swedish, but thanks for trying.
K Thanks.

People just don't notice it is bad and they just do it :/.

I never had any problems, that's the thing. All it's been to me is saving time.

Hey, it's called exiting the game, not slooow wait for it to unfreeze... wait for it...

Not all of us use outdated computers to play blockland...

What's an "outdated" computer? I play Skyrim fine

why does the extra 3 seconds blockland takes to close too much for you? is it really necessary to post a topic about why you think the very visible and easy to access default function is silly and has no use? not to mention all the kids that don't even know console exists and would be extremely confused

'kids that don't even know console exists'  is this a joke?

no, are you joking?
i bet a solid 1/6 of blockland doesn't know what console is and has never used it before.

wehrmacht's a poser!!!

he knows about the existence of console but he's NEVER used it!!1!11!

holding the power button on your computer

thats what i have always done :D

never in my nerd career of computer use has that ever caused problems.

Just delete it and move on.
It prevents me from downloading bullstuff 2000 files every time I join a server :D

Thought this was a thread for why you would never quit Blockland.

Until I clicked I learned it was about how you can't stand a quit button.  :panda:

If you are playing on fullscreen.

Why would I press the button "Quit", when closing the console closes the program much faster?

Isn't it obvious?

quit(); in console is not user friendly. There is a quit button for everyone, in its right place. Anyone who wants to use console and enter in commands is fine to do so, but its not a replacement for a GUI.

He means alt+f4 or closing the console window after alt+tab

You don't get it. He's talking about clicking the X on the Windows console window.
