It's because windows is a loving memory hog. I have no problems with ubuntu

Bad luck Beachbum. My PC has 8 gigs RAM, Radeon HD7850, i7-2600, 1 TB solid state and 64 GB SSD, and Widows 7 64 bit. stuff runs flawlessly, boot up time of about 9-11 seconds, and all games and applications run perfectly.
I multitask on multiple games at once.
