Actually, they're technically boards. And all further "forums" are erroneous because they are individual boards, the only reason I consider the "Age Of Time Forums" a seperate forum is because they're for a completely different topic and they're a different place of discussion, so I feel that though they're only a category they deserve to be called an entire forum. But anyway, the reason SMF and PHPBB and all other forum softwares install by default to "forum.example.com" is because in 99% of cases there's only one forum. The heirarchy goes:

The reason it was removed probably has nothing to do with the fact that he posted that stuff and was afraid of his parents finding out. It probably has everything to do with this being pitched as a children's game, with it even going so far as to being put on steam, where there will be a much larger audience. For this pitch to be complete the forums need to be relatively safe for children. The average parent would probably stuff at least one brick if they found out that people capable of so easily finding personal details of their family were on here. In short, it would make the forums an unsafe environment for children, heavily damaging the reputation of the game to parents. I don't know about you guys but until I was 13 and somewhat independent all of my games came from my father's wallet. I can't see a parent purchasing a game for their child where their privacy would be so unsafe. As far as a business goes (which you people seem to forget is the thing that badspot is running here) the right decision was made.
