Yes, they are windows. I tried making them smaller, however the proportions didn't match up with the arches that are one size smaller. I would have to try with ramp bricks. Thanks for your input.

I have no idea what you are talking about. The same theme/brick pattern and color palette are used throughout the build. If you could be more specific?

The upper half of the tower is good but the main body leaves much to be desired. its quite bare and the middle windows/whatever they are don't fit in well.

With the top half you could make some really impressive stuff. I'll leave these pictures here for you to look at.

Note that you don't have to make it nearly as complex; just improve the general design of the main body and it would be a lot better.

Picture 1 and 2 look like basilicas, and the 3rd is a cathedral. Doesn't help much with the design concept of a time period-questionable clock tower. If anything, he should look at Big Ben, so as to remove any religious connotation that may interfere with the style.
