I come on this server for the first time about 2 weeks ago, i find an abandoned house set up my stuff there and my friend penthoplayer that i have known for a long time helps me and gives me stuff to get started with EE and IC.
I'm having a great time, my base is wonderful, I'm generating redstone for my flying ring and all my machines are set up. all is well.
Then, without any warning whatsoever the server is just reset. all that hard work all those days building my base and gathering resources just gone. See, thats fine for Dren because he can just spawn a ton of stuff for himself and live somewhere with a sign saying: "Drens house grief/steal = ban" So you must really be worried about your spawned in items huh? Man it would be ashamed if your 20 stacks of diamonds and 17 quarries were stolen huh?
Next i come to find out EE has been disabled on the server.
Really?
Not only was it a smack in the face to make me start over without warning you take my favorite mod too?
Wow. Just wow.
But that's fine i deal with it. I suck it up and live with Frogger/axolotl for awhile.
Then penthoplayer tells me that he is with a group of people and i should come see his base, so i do and it is amazing.
A huge machine room, a huge tower And tons of riches in gold, iron, and crystal chests. (all obtained without EE)
It was a wonderful base, so i asked if i could join them and they didn't trust me.
Now i do admit that threw me into a rage and i griefed their base. I took their machines and a stack of each metal so i can go out into the world and start my own great base like theirs. Then Kojo gets on one day when i am alone and after 10 minutes of him asking "Why would you do this?" i felt so bad, i returned every single item only asking to be able to join our group.
This group was a wonderful group. the five of us took care of this large base and continued to prosper in riches without EE.
Even in the hardest times i would risk all of my items to go find some food for the others.
I even lost a set of emerald tools and a full set of iron armour trying to get food because we couldn't throw some our gold in a machine and get some pork chops. After awhile, more people join us. about... four more, and we are still prospering and living happily even with such a large group. then, in the middle of the night, only me and the newcomers on tekkit are on and someone attacks us. he breaks our chests and trys to take as much as he can and run. We defend ourselves as much as possible when we are all tired and our base is in a state of disrepair. I ask the guy: "will you leave us alone if i give you the coordinates to someone Else's base?"
He said it depends if they have the same stuff we do and i said yes. he goes there and claims he took everything that wasn't locked in a safe and he was going to leave us alone because he got all of this stuff. We were all happy to hear that we didint have to defend anymore and we all got off of tekkit and went to bed. About 15 minutes later i felt that something was wrong so i hopped on the computer to see if our base was okay.
Nope.
All of it. Gone a huge crater where our hard work used to be.
The size of a nuke. The only stuff that didn't get destroyed was any reinforced stone we had placed and our personal safes.
I immediately blamed boolahmcgee (lando the climber) and made an image heavy post showing what happened.
Lando was banned and me and pentho immediately went far off into the wilderness and started over.
Soon all of our friends got on and we eventually got everything together and rebuilt even better.
i soon got myself enchanted diamond items, a jetpack, a mining laser and some nano armour.
All was well once again.
I eventually found out Someone by the name of Spitfiretornado was the true person who nuked our base, and he was soon banned after many complaints of him griefing others. we were all so happy to have justice and live in peace once again.
For no reason at all Spitfire was unbanned and and he started to rebuild close to our base. Later Penthoplayer found Spitfire's base and Woundeey/Wound told me the coordinates. i flew over to the base with my jetpack and it was just a small wooden house with a crafting table and a furnace and a sign out front read: "SPIT FIRES BASE DO NOT GRIEF UNDER PENTHO'S NEW RULES"
I asked pentho: "What does this sign mean? will i get banned if i grief him?" and pentho claims that he did not make any rules so i went ahead and blew up Spitfires base with revenge in heart. Then pentho asks me why i blew it up and i said the starfish deserved it for what he did to us and pentho said: "I'm sorry i have to ban you" and when i asked why i thought he was joking he actually banned me for something he claimed not to be breaking rules. I said "Comon man this isn't funny, are you serious?" And he was serious. I hung up the skype call and in a pit of rage, removed pentho from my skype contacts and deleted the server from my server list.
I can't believe he did that. I helped our group so much and i worked so hard for everything i owned and he just bans me.
Just like that. That was just a loving smack in the face.
So now i say This server was a horrible experience.
The host runs it off of his opinion not what makes the inhabitants of the server happy. When you are trying to make your players happy there's places to draw the line: If EE is disabled and its a default mod for tekkit and everybody wants it back its fine to enable it. But if everybody wants 25 stacks of diamonds saying it will make them happy that wont happen.
I am done with this server.
It was the worst rollercoaster experience ever and the 2 loving ADMINS made it a lot more worse.
I have no other way to end this but saying forget you Drendran, Penthoplayer, Boolahmcgee, and Spitfiretornado.
