Edit: Also from what I'VE read you guys are trying to run a server with no(2 rules) rules. Good luck with that.
Imagine if Americia were ran without rules. Nothing would work. Try to work out a system, don't just put up an ip and say "k guiez come play the minecrafts".

Your stubbornness. Ignoring requests to change the poll to a vote for EE, as an example. I can't say specifically what thought process causes it, but I can say it's very likely rooted in pride. You don't want to enable EE because your pride forbids you to do so. Even if everyone wants it.

The correct approach to acquiring EE in its fullest, unedited form involves hurting you in the way of damaging your pride or somehow overcoming it, and I've tried to avoid taking the former route because it's not the one I'd like to take. I've tried the latter, but you remain unfazed.

It's not quite that simple, but I can't find the exact words to get the idea across as efficiently as possible.

It's not about pride? I'm certainily not getting more popular by doing this.
I just don't like the mod itself. That's all there is to it. I think it defeats the purpose of the game.

Yeah, FTB is 1.4.2
The only downsides are:
1. Good probability of losing the map.
2. Almost as much probability of losing the plugins.
3. No redpower. (This has a lot of stuff, from volcanos, to marble, to logic gates)
4. Everyone now has to get a new client.

The most logical third of my brain is already looking at this and saying "ugh this is stupid why am i wasting energy here".

The only explanation I can think of as to why I care so much is just "It's relevant to my interests." And I'm not even really sure why. I suppose because I'm managing to get entertainment from it and that's not something I've been able to do much lately.

This is something I've considered. EE3 takes out condensers, so that won't even be a problem. By the time FTB is out with EE, it'll probably be using EE3. But it'll have Mystcraft, along with other neat mods, and that may more than make up for it. c:
