cristian [BL_ID 36607] - Abusive host with bad serverSo I couldn't really find a good server on the master server list today, but I saw cristian was hosting a TDM and I thought i'd give it a try (never been to it before).
Unfortunately this turned out to be an
absolutely horrible server.
A player named Atari somehow had gotten hold of airstrikes and was spamming them all over the battlefield resulting in many deaths:
The host did absolutely nothing about this for quite sometime until suddenly permabanning him. At least he's banned.
Second thing that I noticed was that there was tons of spawncamping; The map was horrible too. It consisted of two 5x tall box houses, one on the ground and one flying in the air, as the team spawns, and the rest was just a baseplate cube-enclosed flat grass arena with giant pencils, a few barricades and two sandbag-armored sniper posts.
But again; Blue team spawned in the flying box and was constantly spawncamped by Red:
The third thing and what I found the most appalling was that the host was outright CHEATING. I caught him teleporting around the battlefield multiple times to gain a tactical advantage; First was behind enemy lines so he could slaughter them all (he teleported too fast for me to take a picture of this), Second was right onto the enemy's flying spawn box so he could spawncamp them...
...and the third was when he teleported up on top of the map wall to once again spawnkill with a sniper.
Due to this, I witnessed several other players leaving, while expressing outright disghust; meanwhile I had gotten into an argument with some dumb kid named SABATON, who kept arguing that the host "could cheat if he wanted to", just because it was his server. I eventually gave up this endeavor and left.
I then decided to PM the host over RTB to find out why he was cheating:
I still can't believe it myself. The host outright admitted he knew he was cheating yet he said he had no problem with it, and that he didn't care. I have to say i'm simply disghusted.
To sum it all up, this is an awful server, run by an awful person, and I highly recommend everyone here avoids it.
