gold and silver?

Yeah, but one for the GBA.
"But you can play them on the GBA."
But you can't trade or battle them with anything beyond the second generation.

Chronologically, Emerald was released after Fire Red and Leaf Green, which were right after Ruby and Sapphire. Despite what this would make you think, Emerald was simply an updated version of Ruby and Sapphire. Amber does not exist.

I don't think there's an 2nd Gen. equivalent of FR+LG, though. Sorry.

(i used to be really into pokemons)

second generation, aka Gold/Silver/Crystal, was remade as HeartGold/SoulSilver for DS. that's it.

the only main pokemon GBA games were ruby/sapphire/emerald and the first generation remake firered/leafgreen.

I wish people would actually use the stuff I make

Game Boy (Generation I)

Game Boy Color (Generation II)

Game Boy Advance (Generation III)

Nintendo DS (Generations IV (top) & V (bottom))

Well I dunno.
You're missing green in the gen 1 section after all...

green is not included because it's just the japanese equivalent of blue

i always considered the main games to be the gens and remakes to be seperate

Actually, one of my friends had a GBA cartridge of Shiny Gold. I didn't think it was actually licensed by Nintendo, and I don't think it could trade with FR/LG or R/S/E. I didn't really care though, because it was awesome.

you can get 2nd gen pokemon in FR and LG
