Author Topic: Does Blockland work on Windows 8?  (Read 2415 times)

Windows 8 has now been officially released, two days ago for the exact date. Has anyone purchased Windows 8 and tried Blockland on it?

I've seen several help topics before created by people using windows 8, it seems from those it doesn't work yet.

>Still on xp
>Come at me incompatibility issues

And no it doesn't seem it's compatible without doing some odd magical gizmo-stuff first.
Which I don't know about because I'm not a wizard.

Must be one great version of XP you're running if you don't have any compatibility issues with modern stuff

See: DCS A-10, Gmod (Although that issue is patched), DirectX 10+

still having fun with directX 9 I see

there shouldn't be any major compatibility issues with Windows 8 but it's worth keeping an eye out for any.

Looks to me, just like Xbox Dashboard.

So far Blockland hasn't worked on the Windows 8 betas. But I think they would have added in a lot more legacy support for the official release.

Altiris, I am getting Windows 8 today, I will tell you.

It didn't seem to work with the BETA version, but I still have high hopes.

BTW, I'm getting it for $20 since I bought a notebook from the Windows store. :D
