My rack mount server finally came today!

Really excited :3

What are you gonna do with it?

What are you gonna do with it?

Host servers, gaming and other. will be also beneficial for later use also

that's a computer...
i'm guessing you posted this on a phone then, cause if you couldnt host servers before that must mean you never had a computer in your house... which i find really hard to believe.

Sweet

How much did this cost?

Servers are 1% computer, and 99% the connection it has...

Not everyone wants to host from the system they're using to do other things
In fact, basically anyone who does that for any reason other than testing is doing it wrong

Wish I had a rackmount server :(
Or a rackmount :(
Or space to put either one of them :(
Or a connection to make it worth it holy stuff :(

Yeah I was hosting from my other computer, a lot of things.  But I needed the computer for other things also :c
And my internet isn't bad, so its not a problem

but a server is not a physical thing... if you were given the keys to someone's internet server then i guess you could say "my server came". i just dont understand. its a computer....

A "server" is technically a computer, yes. The difference being one can be used as a desktop, the other only being used for hosting.

The sever he bought does not have the computer aspects hard wired in. It would slow it down. It's a raw computer.

We're not talking a Blockland game server..
