im looking for some quality mech/robot games. like where you get to use mechs in general, be a mech or just like blow stuff up with robots.

preferably free, but i mean paid ones are fine too. mech customization would be preferred as well.

That looks sick, the mechs look a little strange though.

The game reminds me of Chrome Hounds.

Hawken. It's like Mechwarrior except the mechs feel less like 500 ton tanks on legs and more like the Japanese style of mecha, with like sprinting and dashing and stuff. Also jetting. It's in closed beta though.

also iron brigade, you can customize out the ass there
mechwarrior is so slow paced that it's almost more of a sim

Hawken has a more arcade style of gameplay as Opposed to Mechwarrior. They are both great games in their respective categories.

Heavy Gear, Mech Warrior1-4. Anyway MechWarrior 4 mercs was released as freeware recently by microsoft and is up for download on MechTek. It's a pain in the ass to install.
