No offense to you guys. But honestly I don't see whats so great about this game. It's appearance is horrible looking to me.

Could someone explain to me why y'all like it so much?

Edit: I've tried the game but I find the graphics so horrid looking. Plus I don't understand what the games about either.

Because Rule One of Gaming- graphics arent everything. A good game doesnt need good graphics.

Hey OP, add me to the list of Alexina players.  I got 4 active alts, so add either Zorh, Syrr, Lancette, or Lolzorzette.  (God, that last character's been around since Pioneers of Iria.  I feel like a goddamned veteran.)

Also, the puppeteer skills are fun as hell.  Just saying.

Mabi has a lasting aesthetic which I think they've ruined in the Arena thing, swapping over to the Vindictus engine is probably the worst choice they could've made

With lances, for one, get to rank 9 lance mastery as soon as possible for the 3-hit as opposed to 2-hit combo.  Make liberal use of smash, windmill + assault slash, and the two lance-specific skills.  Use windmill as an extra form of counter if lance counter is cooling down, and use lance charge whenever an enemy loads a ranged/magic attack.  If possible, pin an enemy to a wall to use assault slash even after a normal combo/smash.

My giant, Lancette uses (surprise) Lances, and it's fun as hell.  You will enjoy it, I promise.

Lance charge is amazing for low-level knights.  Once you get all your skills ranked up, it's more to clear out rooms of weak enemies than a main attack.  Windmill and smash will become your main damage-dealers once everything is about r9-7.

Don't even try to reason with him.
He used to dislike Castle Crashers without even looking at it. He thought was a generic crush the castle-esque game (he has it now though).
He doesn't like Psychonauts because of the graphics. IT CAME OUT IN 2005. ON PS2 (and Xbox). WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?

Bard is a sub-spec in my opinion, or an alt spec, I myself am a Warrior-Bard who dabbles in magic and some fist-fighting techniques.
Or I will be once I can be bothered to complete that quest chain

I'd rank bard skills just for the stats then never touch them.
Except for supporting musics to give everyone a huge buff that I occasionally played when I felt lazy.

No completely wrong, Ruairi is the one with the terrible economy now. It was completely destroyed with hacks.

Alexina's economy is normal and the people are social if you try to actually talk to them haha.
