Author Topic: The Sandy Log Project (Day 1 Begins)  (Read 3351 times)

Day 1:  Monday, 10/29/12
Location:  Towson, MD

The storm has been predicted to move directly westward into Maryland/Delaware.  The wind keeps going but our high-rise building stands strong and firm.  There is water leaking through some windows, giving proof that I was right in suggesting that our windows required some additional sealing before this had happened.  The lights flicker at times in our building, but most buildings here have underground wiring.  We have a lot more food than we need, enough for at least a week.  Apparently there are more windows leaking so...

Day 1 Southern MD : Winds going crazy, small tree that was weak fell in neighbors yard, leaves everywhere and the a tree out front is blowing in the 34+ mph winds, power not out bit flickering every once and awile

Day 1 : Northeast Ohio

It's really dreary out, been raining constantly for three days already, predicted to last two god damn weeks due to the conflict between the cold front moving east from west and Sandy, stalling the weather over us.

Day 0: 10/29/12
Location: Macomb, MI
Log: Currently Alive, expecting 50mph+ Winds tomorrow. Its been cold, windy, and rainy for the past two days.

EDIT: Lol, you live near me.

Western PA Log Updated. It's raining like all hell here, and this is considered not even the start of it.

I like how alot of people or in NJ.

We should all come together one day near Trenton.

my sides.

Anyways, gust outside right now are 50 miles per hour.  And sandy is still knocking on the door?

This is going to be very interesting. Most schools in my area are closed.

Fact: Since the affected States are under a State of Emergency, missed school will not be made up.

Air pressure.

It sucks living on the west coast. We never get any cool storms. We have 5 volcanoes in Washington but they rarely erupt, and a big earthquake is even more rare.

EDIT: But maybe related.
It was really really warm today. A few days ago there was frost outside in the morning (I leave for the bus at 6:40). Today I walked outside and the wind blew and it was warmer than it was inside.

Day:1
Location: Kentucky, South West region
Log: Wind, and lots of it and some sprinkling rain. Cold.

Day: 2
Location: Kentucky, South west
Log: More wind, no rain, temperature in the morning is 36 degree's according to the radio. I keep my eye on the weather to see if any storms may be moving in. I'm not worried but the winds can simply knock my trailer off its foundation.

Day 1: Monday, 10/29/2012, 11:11 PM
Location: Northeastern Maine
Log: Slight drizzle, moderate winds. Lost all the schoolwork in the exposed sleeve on my laptop case to the rain. Pretty sure I'm still alive.
