I just remembered this game I used to play a few years ago called Arcanists.
It's kinda like Worms but kinda different.

You play as a wizard and have to kill the other wizards.

You can use Book of Fire and Book of Arcane spells if you're a free user and all the other spells if you pay the monthly fee (5 dollars)
If you pay it gives you premium on all  Funorb games blah blah

Same here. I spent all the books I had for one of those things that appear on top of your health bar. Big mistake.

It's pretty unbalanced F2P/P2P-wise. I can still do well with just fire and arcane magic, but unless I pay I miss out on a lot of more powerful spells.
