No but if I get in a fight I'm not going to kick someone in the balls because that's a great quick way to loose respect and to look like a bitch. Not to mention that when you're actually fighting the pain doesn't kick in right away and it just makes them angrier.

if you kick someone in the balls and they don't go down, unless they're wearing a cup for some reason, that is a really weak kick

Are we comparing a schoolyard fight, where regardless of the outcome you're still just children and will end up in detention, or are we comparing an actual fight.

Because if I am in an actual fight, like against someone I do not know, who has the intention of hurting me for whatever reason, then I have no qualms about kicking him in the groin to prevent him.

It doesn't mean I'm going to mutilate his nether-regions or anything nasty. I'm just going to take advantage of his physical weakness and prevent myself from being hurt. I don't owe this person anything and he's started a fight with me, so why should I show him honour and respect?

The pain from a groin-shot isn't immediate, the impact pain is pretty severe yeah but the deliberating pain develops over time, and when you're fighting with adrenaline, it'll only truly come into effect after the fight.
