It's raining and cold here so there have been no trick-or-treaters.

I don't go trick-or-treating anyway or provide sweets for trick-or-treaters. I don't see the entertainment in it, and to me it's a little bit like begging at doorsteps. Same reason I don't go Christmas Carolling. Bah humbug.
