Buddhism teaches all sorts of interesting life improvements. I'm sure Baha'i is similar. Christianity, however, teaches some very awful lessons. The Bible has many verses supporting atrocities, family values, and loveism.

There are, of course, the good and the bad in every religion. But fundamentally, Buddhism has much a much better foundation.

I do agree Buddhism is a fantastic foundation, but the things mentioned about Christianity are not believed by all congregations or practiced.

We would still have the same problems, if not more.

You run the risk of having to define a religion, which is really really really difficult.  Taoism, one of mah faves, has wisdom just like all religions.

Many unified movements have taken place because of some newly organized group.  This specific movement unifies an aspect that has divided people since the beginning of time.  The aspect being religion.  That is a pretty bold, well-thought move to me.  Given, it won't work.

religion does nothing to unify people. it unifies a small group and pits them in a fight AGAINST all the other religions. metaphorical or literal fight.
