Exactly what the title says. Ever since talking a bit to the NA GM Coriel, I've been wanting a lot to help out with the game. I feel like anything I can do to help is worth doing, and when I saw the announcement that there were positions available for their QA team, I immediately leaped at the chance to join up with them.
I probably should I have made this thread first so I can get advice, but this is the e-mail I sent them:
Hello! This is the user Shampooh (shampoohyay@gmail.com), and I'm writing to try and apply for a position as an AlaQA tester for the English S4 League. I believe that I meet all of the requirements and even manage to exceed in some; I've got a full knowledge of the game due to having a boyfriend who has been playing the game since beta, and I have several months of experience to draw on for myself as well. I speak English, along with some Spanish and, funnily enough, a little Korean due to my heritage. I am young, only seventeen, but I think that I have the maturity that is necessary for the job. I know for certain that I have plenty of time to spare that I can use productively for this should I get the position, and I'm very good at working with other people and making a team effort an enjoyable experience. I've been wanting to help out with this game since I started playing, and while I may not have previous experience in the field, I can guarantee to you that I have the determination and professionalism necessary to get anything done well and quickly. I hope that you'll consider me for the job, and please contact me at anytime! Once more, you can contact me at the e-mail address shampoohyay@gmail.com, and thanks a lot for giving this a read; I hope you'll consider me!
Much obliged,
Shampooh
I know it's not ~professional~, but I wanted to try and make my enthusiasm and whatnot clear. I think I at least have a fair shot, but what might you guys think?
