In late 2526, Covenant forces landed on Circinius IV near the Corbulo Academy of Military Science, firing upon all humans there. Survival rate is less than one percent.

Based upon the events in the Machinima webseries Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, this roleplay (!!!) takes place in the halo universe. Characters assume the role of a Cadet at the Corbulo Academy of Military Science, one week before the Covenant invasion. The squadron is Phalanx Squad and conducts frequent training exercises. They have standard Marine battledress uniforms, and a CAMS uniform for clothes. They are armed with an MA5B assault rifle.

0800: Exercise Ends, if it finishes before 0800 then soldiers have more time to get out of gear

The bell in Phalanx Squad's dorm sounds, abruptly waking up everyone. The base AI comes on. "45th training exercise of this term takes place today. Listings: Hastati Squad versus Phalanx Squad, Noble Squad versus Origin Squad, and Vector Squad versus Crater Squad." The AI clicks off and the lights turn up to full brightness. Most of Phalanx would be moving to the showers before breakfast.


Chyler is jolted awake by the bell, and hops up, walking to the closet. She opens and quickly pulls on the CAMS uniform for the day and pushes the button next to her door. The foggy glass door slides open and she walks down towards the women's showers.
