It really is, 90k a year is far more than you will need to live a good life (though I can understand that most of the people in here that have been told that getting As will lead to them making 500k a year, which makes me sad) and they aren't much of a minority, I have seen this happen with so many people I know.
You see it happening to many people you know because 90k a year isn't that high to set your sights. Electrical Engineers make 90k straight out of college, and there's actually jobs available in that field.
My mum used to be the principle of a school that was meant to keep kids off the streets, my bros and sister went there too and I became friends with a lot of the people there, now, the people in this thread are claiming that cheating is basically loving yourself over so that you will never be sucessful, yet the people from this school that were all, drug dealers, hookers, actual delinquents (not the kind that talk in class, the kind that are in knife fights at school weakly, attack the teachers and disappear for months at a time) and muggers.
If you have to cheat to pass, you're not learning the content. If you don't know the content, you probably can't perform high-level jobs.
However I kept in contact and still hang out with about 7 of these guys weekly and they are all in their early 20s and making more than a lot of you A students probably will.
It depends on the field they go into..
There are a lot of jobs that don't make much money, and they aren't just filled with people that did bad at school, so many people who think they are set because they got good grades end up forgeted over in stuffty jobs.
It depends on the job and their qualifications. If you passed highschool, nobody cares what grades you got in your classes besides colleges. If you went to college, you're overqualified for most stuffty jobs and companies are required to turn you down.
Also one of the guys from that school (he is about 26ish now, he was one of the elder ones) is making millions and has spent the last 6 years traveling the world with gypsies and exploring africa and stuff, now he is a minority.
Yup. Making millions puts him in approximately the top 0.001% of American socioeconomic status. He is a very, very small minority.
