Minecraft.net seems to be undergoing some issues, because I can't login either and the site had a different... Feeling to it. I don't know, there's something wrong with it right now. Maybe 1.4.3's being added? I don't know.

does it use forge, modloader, or is it completely standalone?


modloader mods and standalone mods need to be updated with every update, whereas all forge mods only need to update on major updates like when 1.5 comes out; 1.4.3, 1.4.4, and so on will not affect forge mods updated to 1.4
