Looking for new gaming headset for Xbox 360

362 days ago I got my Sharkoon X-static SX headset for my birthday. I loved the headset but for some random reason my microphone on it stopped working.

I've tried unplugging the power to the headset, the cord that connects from the little box thing, to the controller, unplugging the microphone and even trying the spare mic. Nothing worked, and it was weird because I was just talking to my friends maybe 20 minutes earlier.

So, now I'm looking for a new one. Im considering getting the same one but not too sure.

I've seen the Sharkoon, a Turtle beach and a Tritton one all for around $60 or so.

Thats about how much Im willing to spend.

i have default xbox headsets that i got for two bucks each at a gamestop because they are the used old ones. they work fine, seeing as the sound quality for xbox is sub-par anyway and i'm not going to pay more than 10 dollars for a headset i can't use on anything other than my loving xbox.

Stop wasting money

Get the wireless headset. I bought one fairly cheap and it has lasted over 3 years. Only now it is deteriorating, and only cause i did something dumb.

It all comes down to either Turtle Beach X12 or Tritton Trigger

The turtle beach headset I have for PC is is wonderful, but I don't think you should waste your money on it for Xbox. Plus mine has broken like 4 times since I've gotten it.

Go with the Tritton Trigger Headset, Turtle Beaches can have bad quality or good.


I heard the Razer Chimaera was a good headset though, and Razer's stuff is good.
