Author Topic: So I have been selected to get good internet at $9.95 a month  (Read 840 times)

So basically, because i get free/reduced lunch at school I'm valid for good fast internet cheap at $9.95 a month, as well as a powerful $150 laptop/desktop. Pretty damn cheap.

Yes this is some kind of program for schools and my school is one of them. Now obviously this will proably only last until i graduate, ill Be able to keep the computer though, might go for a laptop. what do you guy's think of this?

cool. i have free lunch and we pay like $50 a month for internet. wtf att. i'll see if this is available in my state

i mean don't expect anything totally amazing, but sounds good!

also, I assume this is a Florida only thing. Unless of course they have brighthouse outside of the bay area.

Sounds like a pretty good deal, lucky you.

Sounds like a crock of stuff.

Speed?
15 Mbps at most.

Good enough, I'm going to be the only one using the internet most of the time.

i am paying $50 for like 3mbps. forget internet monopolies.

"Powerful $150 Laptop"

Isn't that redundant?

let me rephrase that. "High performance Computers with Pre-installed Microsoft software such as windows 7 and office 2007"

any better?

My school buys my laptop for me each year (well rents it for me) and I get free lunch c:
$25 per month internet 1.5mb/s

You should get that laptop man, seriously.
