It's my first attempt too so that's really cool.  I got 23 in English, 26 in math, 27 in reading, and 30 in science.

Discuss your ACT results/whatever results.

It's what you use to get into colleges and stuff in the US.

nice score dood, I got a 26 on mine.

A girl in my class got a perfect score and ironically goes to the same college as mine.  Probs with a full ride.

then i got another 31
then my third time i got 32

never really studied either. i think my highest sub-score or whatever was 35 in reading or some stuff.

Never took the ACT, I did pretty well on the SAT though. I still don't really understand the difference between them

basically, SAT is an outmoded test meant almost entirely towards the languages and social sciences, whereas the ACT presents a much more balanced presence of all of them, with a slight favoring of science. the SAT is slowly being shed.

Theyre by different boards, around where we live you have no real reason to take the ACT unless you do horrid on the SAT. In fact some colleges prefer you dont send in ACT scores.

Most colleges I looked at seemed to not really want ACTs too.
