Well it speaks for itself. Square Enix, I love you.

heard of this but never checked it out
how do the ads work, do they appear ingame or do you have to watch one before you start playing?

Im not sure I havnt tried it out yet

So, these games are free because they hit you with adds in the game?

That..is a the worst thing Ive ever heard. What a way to break game flow in the middle of saving the world than to be shown the magic that is the swiffer broom..
Wow..

But, I dont expect anything more from Square Enix so this doesn't surprise me in the least.

Whatever it is, I have a Heroes and Generals beta key now. Hopefully there aren't ads in it.

you know what would be cool? a site where you could just idle on ad's, and you get money

When you start you're given 10 minutes of playing time and when that expires it prompts you with a few videos that you can choose from all around 1- 2 minutes of length after which you get more playing time around 15-20 minutes depending on which add or adds you watched. (don't quote me on any of this)

Dunno how this works but I'm playing the Heroes and Genearls alpha now.

That actually seems quite reasonable.

down with the establishment

oh yeah, this thing

i heard about it on steam

watching adds for some form of payment makes no sense because the adds are going to a blind audience.

This isn't a bad idea. If a person doesn't mind seeing a few ads to get access to some games, have at it, hoss.
