From what I've been told, the guitar is a hard instrument to learn, and it takes awhile to even get the basics down.

Yeah, I've been learning for a while, only barely increased my skill, but now I'm taking it more seriously. Some tips for beginners:

1. Learn to develop your anchor, essiential to being good
2. Metronomes are good for practice. Keep playing to the beat even if you entirely screw up, your left hand will catch up eventually
3. Always tune a little sharp if not exactly on the note, and if you need to downtune, make sure to tune a little under what you are going for, and then tune up so there is some tension

I don't, it's too high and annoying, plus everyone who's played one in my band was like "ogm im gonna play this and be good" but they were horrible and out of tune it was terrifying
