A bizarrely tasteful move by a channel that has been pumping out stuff since 2005 and surely before.

I really loathe the pseudo-sitcom shows they make for kids and young teens, always with terrible canned laughter and awkward hammy acting.

I only watch that channel these days when they show some of those early 2000s and 90's cartoons at night. Proper animation, none of that cheap looking 3D crap some of these cartoons have now.

I think they should re-run some of the older cartoons on channels like this in mainstream hours, it'd be neat. They are just as good as they were then.

I despise cgi, especially when when you mix it with 2D animation. Planet Sheen is a abomination of once good show.

I remember back when I was littled and Nickolodean had shows like Rocko's Modern Life, Ah Real Monsters, Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Wild Thornberries, pre-2005 spongebob, and Angry Beavers. Cartoon Network was great when it had Toonami(late 1990's and early 2000's, forget naruto), Ed Edd'n Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Dexters Lab, Power Puff Girls, Samurai Jack, and many other shows.

Nick became a wannabe sitcom channel with Spongebob as its only Cartoon, sure there were some live action shows like the camp fire thing, Kenan and Kel, All that, and the Amanda show.  Cartoon Network's variety of shows has shrank dramatically, its like the only thing on these days is Adventure time, Regular Show, and that lame live action thing. Every episode of Regular is Practically the same, Adventure Time is mostly hippy dippy stuff with a few episodes that actually have meaning.

Honestly, a Gibby spin-off would be absolutely hilarious if they pull it off well.
