Apparently saying that an overpriced computer is worse than a cheaper one is being greedy.

Yipity loving yay

If you put in $60 more out of your own pocket you could go with an Alienware tower, it has an i3 CPU which isn't bad and a GeForce GT 640 which will be far more capable of keeping you closer to the fast paced gaming world (scoring about 3x more than the other computers card in a bechmarking test).

I understand not everyone likes Alienware though, but it looks like the best there in terms of hardware thats near that budget of yours.

The price you have in mind is really stretching it imo.

There's no hope for this.

The only way i'll be able to get any computer now is to trick her.

Starting now my plan unfolds.

This might end badly.

yeah keep in mind the video that was linked in the post above me is also in 720p.

don't expect much from that card.
to be more precise the video was recorded in 1280x1024

just curious, how'd you figure that out? would be useful for next time. I just went by the highest quality setting.

just tell her youll take the ibuypower pc because you appreciate what shes trying to do.

upgrade the 620 gpu later on.

the ratio was 5:4 and that's the only 5:4 resolution that's standard so
yeah

I'm slowly but surely earning back the computer.

My plan is working.

So your mum won't just you know, give you the money and let you make the decisions and experience the benefits (or in her mind, consequences) of building a PC? STICK IT TO HER. TELL HER YOU'RE AN ADULT, YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN CHOICES.

But for the record, when I was buying my prebuilt, I was told that it was a really good deal and that there was no way I'd be able to build the same thing for a lower price. Though that might've been a one in a million thing.

This will only dig me into a deeper hole.
