Author Topic: Save ruined by "Blockland stopped working" error  (Read 1354 times)

The problem is not with zone bricks. The default features of music in the game itself are responsible for the crashes, as far as I can tell. If you have the long-range music brick addon, disable it and see if interacting with music bricks still crashes you.

And you're welcome! Glad to help!
Seems you were right, it's long range music bricks. But I've seen a lot of people use them without any problems before, I guess they're probably interfering with another mod, causing that.

As far as I can tell, there is no problem with my Long Range Music Bricks as they work fine for me and everyone else I am aware of. If a problem in my addon can be found, It'd be greatly appreciated.

Id like to get this issue resolved.

This is a PM I got from K9 Kid some time ago, it might be of use:

1: Open blockland and start a singleplayer
2: Build a music brick.
3: Name music brick "Music" (doesnt really matter, but for reference)
4: Wrench music brick and make it play music
5: make another brick
6: Event brick:
Onactivate>Namedbrick[Music]>setmusic>none
7:Click the evented brick. the music should stop playing.
8: Save.
 You will crash on saving.

To turn on trace in game type in console: trace(1);
To turn it off: trace(0);
This will give a much more detailed explanation in the console log, but will be laggy.

My experience with this is, refrain from using music bricks to be safe or dont use events to change them
