Author Topic: How did you get into blockland?  (Read 3476 times)

YouTube ads on Lego videos.

is the guy who made the video asian?

Saw an ad next to a lousy flash game.

I swear there was a topic like this recently, but maybe someone just brought up this question ingame.

One of my friends showed me it. It was probably the first game that I ever really got into on the PC.

I saw a couple of videos on it and then I got it.

brother played it for a while, then I got it

My friend told me about it.

I joined fairly early in retail blockland, after i saw this beta video.
Wait, what the forget! That was the same video I saw that got me interested into Blockland, it had an ad right next to the Blockland video about "Blockland: THe game where you build stuff!"

Omg, that's so cool! I miss that video :C

I was searching for Lego Halo :P and found this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=me2GGRb_ctM

EDIT: That was years ago.

Played Roblox with a friend (we were actually pretty good) and then found Blockland.

Roblox. Since it was so laggy and I happened to had a really bad computer it crashed it. Got a new computer saw blockland AD on Dan Ball and since it said "That game where you build stuff" I decided to get it.

The most legitimate ad for a game i've ever seen.

Was browsing through lego videos looking at stop-motions and awesome build when I found (Like we all did) the "Awesome Lego House" video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzaLRjayeY4&feature=related Thought it was awesome, so I researched a bit more in to blockland, thinking I MIGHT get it. Then, I saw this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goxXAPBUGgs I played the demo for only about a week and then got the game in V12 as a present because my sister got to go to London and I didn't :P

A friend told me about rtb.
I looked it up and eventually ended up on the main Blockland website.
I was very interested but thought i couldn't buy it yet so i had some sort of fun with the demo version for a long time.
The ability to play with mods in the demo version was very awesome, since i became very fond of the game that way.
Eventually i ended up seeing that i could buy it and bought it.

Badspot was even kind enough to answer a question of mine regarding paying via Paypal.
A very kind response, i feel a bit silly looking back at it, but he really cares about his customers. ;)
