i dont shower in, drink, cook with, or brush my teeth with fluoride. refuse to.

Some chlorine used to clean tap water actually contains cancer causing chemicals.

I think rocket fuel has carcinogens.

This is why I don't drink the tap water at my city.

I drink it, and I think I'm alive.

Tap water in the city and in the country is safe to drink.
Well water tastes stuffty.
City water tastes like fluoride.
Well water may or may not give you cancer.
The above statement is unlikely.

I was at camp once in Michigan and had water straight from the well and almost vomited. It tasted like blood.

Also my water comes from the nearby river. It has a treatment plant the size of an 2 story house. I would know, I seen it when I went swimming in the river.

I also use to use a systern (underground water well with a pump) and the water always had something in it. It wasn't near clean, the creek water was cleaner than that water.

In Ohio, the moment you hold any object with means to sip from it below a sink, it will instantly infest your body with tapeworms, maggots, and leeches. Your blood becomes arsenic and you have a seizure and die.

I drink it, and I think I'm alive.
People who get cancer stay alive, for the most part.

This could mean you are dying.

Very.
Slowly.

come on guys, I'm serious. I'm not going to drink something that will infest me with diseases and parasites and all that stuff.

Then it wouldn't be chlorine, because chlorine itself is not a carcinogen.

I think you're using it as a general term for chemicals used to treat water, but you should probably be more specific since using weasel words like 'Some x is dangerous' makes it seem like you have no idea what you're talking about.

If you like drinking chloride and other things the government puts in it then yeah.
The guvmint' doesn't put in chloride in the water. It doesn't serve any purpose in either treating the water or making it healthier to drink. Most of the chloride in our water is a byproduct of industrial/agricultural pollution.

do other people around you drink it?

It depends on the source, unless we know the source we can't help to well.
Regardless you should probably boil it.

That's how our water tastes.
Get used to it.
Just the natural things in the ground.
If you don't live in a city there it won't taste that way.
Was the camp by any chance in the middle of an iron mine?
