Author Topic: Is tap water safe to drink?  (Read 13092 times)

I used to live with rusted pipes. When ever you turn off the water (as in cut off all water) and turn it back on the water will come out brown.

Is op one of those people who only drink bottled water?

Nevermind he is

Tap water is safe don't be silly

I only drink bottled water because the water here isn't purified to well.

This thread is getting really stupid real fast. :/

Check with your Local government because some places have better water than others.

Buy a filter because you can never be too safe when it comes to this stuff.

Boiling can also help, but can become useless because of the prior.

It's dangerous. I drank it once and it killed me.

if yyou're that scared buy a filter

Condolences

i use well water and i have it filtered

ayoooo

My family drinks it occasionally, and so far none of us have had any issues. Up in Ohio, I'm not sure how it is. But for now, I'll say it's fine.

My water has so much iron in it that when my mom showers it turns her hair orange

tap water depends, mine comes downstream from a large industrial area, where chemical spills are almost common, so i don't
as long as you live in the right area you should be fine
