water has about three filtering chemicals in it, but they're also most likely filtered out before ingestion. though i'm not fond of flouride for any oral hygiene purpose.

I don't think the water company would pump water to your house that is poisonous.

If you don't want to drink tap water get a fridge with a water spout on the front.

It seems like nobody has this and it annoys me.

Depends on where you water comes from.

we have a water cooler, i don't remember the last time I drank tap water.

Although it's not like I go out and google this stuff, I've only heard of one case where someone had poisonous water in America
and that's because they were getting the water from some creek behind their house

but it may have been the other way around.

So the creek was poisoned from drinking the person?

Don't drink water because water is a chemical.

If you think the water is bad to drink then pour the water in a pot and boil it then cool it down.

No, you need to use a thin net to catch the steam. Even after that it doesn't always kill ALL the bacteria.

I thought it'd take out the bacteria. Oh well then.

I've been drinking tap water all my life.

Depends on where you live. I don't remember where I read this but apparently bottled water is actually monitored and tested more than tap water in the US.

Actually, that's called distilling and you're right that you need it to be completely safe.

However, it does kill all bacteria. It just won't remove any harmful chemicals/metals like lead or arsenic.

"hey steve"

"why"

Tap water is all I've been drinking for the past 10ish years

Bottled water tastes icky to me.
