I'd say that growing up might have a role in this whole thing, but the fact that I still enjoy Spongebob leads me to believe that the quality of these new shows is actually going downhill.

Marvin the Martian?...

Hey

Hey

Did you know that your appreciation for cartoons and stuff has gone down over-time because your psyche has been maturing? That's the same reason why you hold old cartoons in such high regard, and then trash on the newest cartoons that are appearing nowadays.

Seriously. There have been some really stupid shows that aired a decade ago, but those AREN'T stupid because NOSTALGIA GLASSES
So the difference of the opinions of one old piece of media to a new and improved piece of media is sort of a fallacy?

Marvin the Martian?...
I walked into my sister trying to change the channel from this show to something else, it was basically "he is an alien and he's loving weird." He was vomiting cereal and milk into a bowl.

Sometimes, I think that this is what is causing society to degrade. Yet, this might be a biased opinion because of Squideey's fallacy.

Society isn't "degrading." It's simply changing, the problem isn't society, it's that handicapped shows are getting greenlit as a result of many writers writing handicap shows because handicap shows are being greenlit. Once some good shows take up major slots we should see a trend of recurring good writing.

my first photoshop. oh god the black hand

The internet the only channel I watch now because of crap like this.

Remember when Cartoon Network did game shows for a while and called it CN real?
BAHAHAHHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAHAHAAAAA

But seriously, what the hell is up with Disney and Nick pumping out these stuffty sitcoms daily? Does anyone else miss good-old fashion cartoons? I mean, gravity falls, regular show, and adventure time were a step in the right direction; but they were only one step. Moar cartoons!

It's a complete rip off of Mork & Mindy without the actual humor.
