Most people are ignorant and make fun of me because i'm an atheist

>implying atheism is a religion
It technically is. If someone asks you what religion you are, do you just sit there with a blank face and not respond, or do you reply "I'm Atheist."
If religion is defined as a set of beliefs, then the word atheism literally means that one doesn't worship or follow any divine or supernatural beings. In other words, they believe no supreme beings exist. Which is a belief.
The word religion doesn't imply that you actually practice the religion, even if you belong to it. All religion is is a set of beliefs, and sometimes culture and morals.

If religion is defined as a set of beliefs
a religion is a set of beliefs. A specific religion has a ton of different beliefs.
Quote
Religion is a collection of belief systems, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to spirituality and, sometimes, to moral values.[note 1] Many religions have narratives, symbols, traditions and sacred histories that are intended to give meaning to life or to explain the origin of life or the Universe. They tend to derive morality, ethics, religious laws or a preferred lifestyle from their ideas about the cosmos and human nature. According to some estimates, there are roughly 4,200 religions in the world.[1]

Many religions may have organized behaviors, clergy, a definition of what constitutes adherence or membership, holy places, and scriptures. The practice of a religion may also include rituals, sermons, commemoration or veneration of a god, gods or goddesses, sacrifices, festivals, feasts, trance, initiations, funerary services, matrimonial services, meditation, prayer, music, art, dance, public service or other aspects of human culture. Religions may also contain mythology.[2]
Atheism has none of these. Literally the only thing that all atheists have in common is they don't hold a belief in a god

In other words, they believe no supreme beings exist. Which is a belief.
it's a lack of a belief, not a belief in a lack
it's a huge difference in meaning

calling atheism a religion is like calling abstinence a love position
or not playing baseball a sport
or not smoking a habit
etc

Agnostic Atheist, I broke your poll.

Also, lol @ all the people who think atheism is a belief system/all atheists deny religion. Why bother talking about something like this if you are clueless.

Taoism is a philosophy more than religion, I think.

Agnostic Atheist, I broke your poll.
Pretty much everyone who says atheist is agnostic atheist; I think it's pretty much implied
Well, pretty much everyone, atheist or theist, is agnostic, since few would claim to know for sure that a god does or does not exist.
