You're in 8th grade. A lot of people in middle school would say yes just because they've been asked out. They might not even like them at all, and then break up with them in the next day or so. There's hardly anyone who ACTUALLY cares for each other.

No, saying, "I love you!!!!" on Facebook does not mean they really do.

Plus, saying, "I really like you, want to go out with me?" wouldn't work with 99% of girls. You have to at least know them a LITTLE. Even then you shouldn't just jump the gun. Invite them to hang out with you and your friends or something, the possibilities are endless. Everyone is different, so get to know the person before you even think of asking them out.
