Nice circular reasoning, and that second part is a terrible reason. People are just afraid of death so they make up an afterlife. But I see that you will never listen to reason so this is like talking to a brick wall.

2. god could have just not told them about the other planets? there is obv a lot of stuff god would never tell us.

2. why wouldn't he tell them about there being other planets. we didn't even need telescopes to figure that out. there is no reason that I can imagine.

why would we not need telescopes? they probs all just that they were really big stars back then. but i mean idk, he's god, or it was written but someone along the way removed it and presented the new theory that earth was the center of everything (which was obv proved wrong later on)

I personally believe that God may have in fact set into motion the universe as we know it. The mere chance that earth would randomly be created in the perfect condition for life is simply unfathomably small.
