eh? 0 ping? didn't know that was possible
either being really close to the server having good internet or hosting your own speedtest server

either being really close to the server having good internet or hosting your own speedtest server
i thought that it was testing against it's own datacenter; wasn't sure though

autosaves are broken again
i updated the ticket

I've been having a ton of problems with RTB. Add-ons that I try and upload never upload unless I manually put them in via FTP. When I click to shut down the server it often stays on the "Waiting" mode for like 10 minutes, and when I try and load autosaves into the server nothing happens.

Huh. It only seems to act this way in Firefox. It works fine in Chrome.
Thanks for the help Ephialtes.

Honestly, either submit support tickets for these issues and we'll get back to you when we can or just request a refund and I'll happily refund the full amount you paid. Posting in this thread is not a way to get support and you won't receive any here.

Hey, check out our FAQ here or just raise a ticket if anythings still unclear.

We'll be releasing some new highly requested improvements to the Access Control functionality tomorrow which is going to require the panel to be unavailable for about 30 minutes or so. Panel downtime is unfortunately unavoidable due to the fact that access control is a deeply-ingrained part of the system. To be clear, servers will remain online but you won't be able to access the panel during this time.

The update is intended to allow users to better refine the access people have to their server panel via the use of customisable roles. The user can define roles with access to specific resources and then apply those roles to specific users. Here are a couple of pictures to demonstrate this:

You'll get the 4 default roles applied to your account after this update is rolled out and you'll then be free to configure them however you'd like.

I'll be posting closer to the maintenance window but I expect the downtime to occur around 13:00 EDT (18:00 UTC) on the 9th of September.

RTB Hosting is great. I love it because it's super-useful and the support is amazing.

I looked at my server and it was offline, any reason? I don't see why it would have crashed since there's been no problems for months on end.

Also it's stuck on waiting.

It won't force shutdown either.

Apologies, NY05 fell over overnight, should be fully recovered and stable now.

Maintenance will be proceeding in the next hour or so. I'll post again to confirm downtime and once more to confirm the successful deployment of the new access control functionality.

This has now been successfully deployed. Downtime was around 5 minutes. If you experience any issues please raise a ticket, and if you have any questions feel free to ask them in the thread.
