Author Topic: Steam is a bitch  (Read 1099 times)

My steam account got hijacked and I opened a ticket and it's been over 2 weeks and Steam hasn't replied. Why is their service so crappy even though people pay for it?

EDIT: I provided them proof such as 4 last digits of credit card and some CD keys.

I know right?
That stuff comes out of my kettle and rots the walls

Something went wrong, There's no way they should take that long, Stop sitting around and sort it out.

Steam is slow as forget too. But still better then origin

Sort it out? With who? Sort it out with Steam Support that won't even bother to read my complaint that they don't reply to my tickets?

EDIT: Remember when I accidentally bought Portal 2 twice instead of Portal 1 and Portal 2? I opened a ticket and they never replied. (it's been over 2 months)

At least it's not Nexon support  :cookieMonster:

But seriously, they have a lot of tickets to sift through.
Be patient.

EDIT:
Send it again.
Please don't do this.
One of the reasons it takes so long is that everyone sends duplicates, filling up the ticket box with spam. Just wait.

Be patient? Sigh, it's been two weeks and I have spent over 200$ on my Steam account buying games and stuff. It's not a free service, come on.

Again, think of how many people use steam.
People submit tickets for trivial stuff like steam being slow or games not patching fast enough. There are literally hundreds of tickets every day and theyll get to yours when they can. They only have so many people reading them.

They should invest more in support. You know, if there are so many messages, the number of technicians has to increase proportionally so that they can satisfy every customer.

I've never had a problem with Steam support.

I never use steam support.

My steam account got hijacked

How does this even happen?

The only time I ever used Steam Support would be when I lost my old password and couldn't gain access to the email it was assigned to, and I helped them address a bug in Source which was fixed in a week. They both replied in two days. Do not send in duplicate tickets.

Steam is probably sick of handicaps giving out their login info on phishing sites.
