Author Topic: Petiton for religious threads to be bannable.  (Read 5951 times)

Maybe the problem isn't the threads but the fact that everytime we have a topic remotely related to religion we have 15 people on the first 3 pages go

"inb4religionwar"

"lock this it'll start a war LOL"

Seriously, if you do this you need to loving stop. If people stopped making such a big deal over this stuff then nothing remotely bad would even happen. And most of the threads that pop up on religion just end up being a huge circlejerk for atheists and involve no actual philosophical discussion. When someone with a differing faith does come in, he's usually teamkilled or a loving idiot. Either way no one is hurt in the long run and when healthy debate does occur, everyone thinks people are violently arguing.

Calm your tits

If you don't like the topics, why are you going into them?

If you see a thread about religion, don't click it.

No, the Pope would agree that if you don't have the courage to express your faith, then your faith wasn't strong enough to begin with, it's okay to talk about differences and what you believe, but these random childish fights about "forget THAT, GOD ISN'T REAL, A GIANT RAPTOR CHICKEN CREATED US ALL" has to bloody stop.

no. because the drama is awesome.

in fact i bet all the yes's are butthurt christians lol.

so especially no.
nothing says being a christian like forcing your will upon people. especially when it means not letting them discuss other beliefs.

No, religion topics can be fine if no one says "UH OH LOCK THIS"

no, that's probably the stupidest thing I've heard recently

if we're gonna ban anything that causes arguments, might as well lock every furry and brony thread, or in fact anything that remotely resembles clashing opinions because that's BAAAD!

you won the thread

no he didn't, he's stating a true fact.
I'm actually curious.

Do you have some sort of mental disability?  Maybe, autism?  His statement was far from literal, however his message was almost exactly what you portrayed.

Almost.

I'm going to do what you do, here:  A "true" fact.  Could you please inform me of what a false fact would be?  Because, you know, there's obviously a difference between the two.

I don't do this kind of stuff, because I know what you mean, and understand the simple mistake you made.  So could you please stop doing this kind of stuff?

no he didn't, he's stating a true fact.
yea, and he did it with humor

That was tremendously stereotypical, if you actually went to church, you would see not all of us are like that, I said "No", for your information.
