did the player just change to a flat one lacking gradients for anyone else?  I really like it.

yeah, it's flat and the buttons glow when you mouse over

I think people are just hating on it because it's different and they don't like change

what the forget layout are you looking at?

there are two tabs: one for subscriptions and one for recommendations, as far as I can tell neither one shows up in the other

all of my subscriptions are in chronological order

it also shows you if anyone has done anything new lately which is a huge plus imo and being that angry that they moved the title and author to below the video is the most nit-picking stuff I've ever heard
What?
Why is it like that for me, and not for you? Also, the only reason i have a problem with it is because I keep thinking the title is the description. Because that's what I'm used to, also there is definitely not two tabs for subs and for recommendations. I only see one for subscriptions, and even then youtube recommends random stuff in the feed.
Sorry for pissing you off so much |:\

You now cannot access more videos from the user of the video you are watching without pure luck in the related videos section or going to their channel

Anyone got a playlist to listen to? Go play the playlist and see what Youtube did to that :cookieMonster:

Playlist controls are now to the right of the video and has a black background that wraps around the video
i like this nevermind theres no longer any recomended videos to the side whenever youre in a play list :(. its a nice design, though

I'm not pissed, I'm just still in utter awe at how I can go to a video and both top comments are "this layout is stuff!" and not some other thing relating to the actual video

maybe you got some weird beta layout or something idk

You now cannot access more videos from the user of the video you are watching without pure luck in the related videos section or going to their channel

this is my only problem with it so far, I used that a lot

osht i just changed

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yeah mine just changed.

Still don't care.

I can still watch the same videos.

yeah i actually really like this

yeah i actually really like this

it's loving beautiful, seriously

I don't feel like I'm on a website from 2009 anymore

this is my only problem with it so far, I used that a lot

Yeah other than that, I actually don't mind this update. Colors changing on the homepage, big deli. But YouTubes, please put the title back up top where it belongs

well what would they add on the sides

there's not much else you need
The fact when you make the video larger size (Still waiting for that 720p size option, Where did that go?)  The list of videos on the right moves under it instead of moving further right proves that it's not made for a pc screen.

Also why is everybody obsessed with putting things on the left, It reminds me of what sites looked like in the 90's http://web.archive.org/web/19980212220429/http://www0.bbc.co.uk/home/today/index.shtml

This extension has an option for that:

https://spoi.com/software/yto/

No Firefox though.

It's cool, I have a greasemonkey extension for it, I just don't understand why it was in their test version years ago and is in html5 afaik and it's still not in officially.
