About

Frost is a work-in-progress roleplay set in Siberia in 2026 in the wake of an H5N1 pandemic. The server uses RPChat and the Sound Effects mod to make the roleplay seem more like a roleplay. More areas and item opportunities are opened up by admin-run events. Players have the choice of setting up camp in the forest, staying at Camp Kennedy, taking up shelter in the abandoned village, or trying to survive out in the tundra. Hypothermia, bandits, and hunger are just a few of the problems that people will face in this unforgiving tundra.


The Plot
March 25, 2025
A shipment of H5N1-infected chicken products is shipped to an HEB in New York City after an outbreak in a farm in Mexico. 60 people die, 5 are sent into comas and 13 are left living.
Worldwide Death Toll: 68

July 22, 2025
Birds begin literally dropping out of the sky and local law enforcement begin cremating bird corpses to stop the spread of H5N1. Most grocery stores and markets now contain H5N1.

December 31, 2025
People stay inside and almost nobody attend parties on New Year's Eve as tens of countries call on their militaries to hand out safe rations to the people. Most of the holidays is spent in mourning for the many lost.

July 4, 2026
This Independence Day marks what almost all of what's left of humanity calls the end of the world. Streets lie dead and empty. Almost all major cities are desolate. The few remaining in the world (150,673) flee to places like Alaska, Siberia and Antarctica, where there are few birds and humans.

Shame on anyone who accuses you of copying, because we can't have enough apocalypse RPs, and inspiration has to come from somewhere.
Everything in the lore is great accept the 9.5 billion population in 2026. I think it'd be closer to 12 billion or so by then, unless there was already a world-wide famine going on... In fact that would be pretty cool... Many parts of the world were already going to stuff due to the massive overpopulation... Obviously people would be used to it though, so the plague would be just as intense. Anyway I'm just talkin. Good luck!

Then again maybe the population stayed at 9.5 billion because of the famine :O
