Author Topic: Forum Idea: Live stream server footage!  (Read 1044 times)

I kinda thought of this: If someoner wants to show their server in a reality like standpoint, why not livestream it. I've seen
something where people have a picture that is actually live stream footage, so, I though, why not make a live stream camera on a server to show it off!

Good idea?

Show me an example of this and I'll support.

That's a real life camera, and that's not even a forum.

I meant a live stream, like that, to a server. -_-

That is a script that runs on a web server that changes a PNG image (that is then fetched by that wiki page) at a fast rate giving the illusion of a video feed. There are a couple of variations to the images, it's not always an empty hallway.

Make a anti-building field around the camera if that happens

OH i think its actuly a different idea some where on the map there is a camera that records live and puts it on the forum topic
might not be posible you would need a camera brick of some sort

The server doesn't render anything.
You'd need to write an entire rendering engine through script, which would be a bad idea if it was even possible.
