Slate is glitchy, flat lands is the best because you can see what your standing on and its terrain so your vehicles don't go flying though the ground.

Very true, I certainly prefer Flat lands. I just though that it may be redundant to make a night version when slate is already dark and gloomy as night. I guess if someone wants to take the time to do so..thats their buisness.
