Just run ComboFix in safe mode. Download it here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/

You can't really "stop" someone from knowing your address or IP unless you change them.

People who make RATs aren't handicaps, virtually every RAT that is actively used is FUD. If you actually want to fix your system you have to restore it to a system restore point.


The other cool thing you can do is send the file to me if you still have it. Crypters are extremely easy to crack and I can get the IP address it's connecting to with a debugger and email it to the FBI, just for laughs.

What game were you playing? If he exploited the game to send you a RAT that's a federal offense and he could go to jail for life. You can't just magically get a RAT though, I bet he was bluffing. He could have grabbed your IP with VOIP and done a reverse IP lookup easily enough to get your town, it's not a terrible guess to say someone's webcam is closed, and 'terrible resolution' is relative.

I was playing GTA IV Multiplayer. And also, he typed a resolution like 1280xsomething.
Also, A (Reminder, the guy who did the VOIP) said he was 14 before he started scaring me, and i heard him over voice chat and he sounded a bit young over his mic, i don't know if it's a coverup, and B (A's friend) sounded about like 16 or 15.
