Was it choppy at all times or just at certain times like going into a mystcraft world or when someone logged in?

I just realized last night we were running on only 512mb of ram. (And fixed it)

like connection wise, and there was this glitch with chat that everyone kept getting, where you couldnt talk but still do everything else. Or maybe it was the ram, Ill try the server again today.. reallyIhavenothingtodo
and maybe it was because I dont have a super computer..
