CHILDREN were lost

loving god, america. Why are you guys so insane?

I was confused by "maces"

yes. a handgun can kill them no problem.

you play to many video games if you actually believe otherwise. real guns are different
it's like you've ignored everything i've said.

DID YOU NOT SEE THE loving CALIFORNIA SHOOTING?

BODY ARMOR WORKS DIPstuff, IF IT DIDN'T PEOPLE WOULDN'T WEAR IT.

A mace is another word for pepper spray.

Mom woke me up and told me about this.

Very sad

Tomcat you're losing the argument because you're using caps.
You seem fairly misinformed so your validity isn't all that great.

are you going to be able to do anything against a person with a rifle and body armor anyways?

Is that what your argument hinges on? Whether or not somebody in that situation could go against a guy with a rifle and body armor?

no I completely agree with you
I'd carry a gun too
but my point is
it's unfair to tell them that they must have one in case of stuff like this
it'd be better to just remove the gun from the gunman in the first place

It shouldn't be mandatory, but it should at least be legal.

And if you could safely aprehend the gun from the gunman, he wouldn't pose that much of a threat, would he?

Body armor isn't 100% bullet proof, in layman's terms, it just makes it less lethal (From what I remember).

so 1 nutjob spent stuffloads of money on fancy illegal toys, therefore it applies to every common situation and guns are pointless.

good logic you have though.
obviously we cant prevent 100% of the crazy stuff that can happen. but it IS possible to prevent the easy 99% of it. we just choose not ti.

because people will be able to take down the shooter instead of waiting for police, which is a pretty good deterrent
what

Police waiting for police.

what am i misinformed about?

yes it is, because that's what happens in shooting like these. apparently the police couldn't, how do you expect school teachers to?

please, inform me on how we can prevent 99% of the crazy stuff that can happen.

and are we talking about a common situation? is this what you consider a common situation?

i love how the "suspected weapons used" includes the two weapons block123 or whatever showed off to the forums

you did not see the link i put up.

it took police much more than pistols to kill those two people. one shooter killed himself.

Alright, you didn't flat out say that I'm stupid, but either way, you're insulting me.

Also, how is saying that maybe a post about a story on a gaming forum--mainly populated by teenagers--isn't the proper place to argue over gun laws stupid?  Maybe we should actually discuss what happened and the media surrounding it, not a broad issue such as gun control only using a single piece of evidence.
still wrong

i'm insulting what you said. suck up your pride princess

and are we talking about a common situation? is this what you consider a common situation?

yes. this is easily taken care of. if someone is shooting unnecessarily and they are dangerous. its anyone and everyones job, especially those who are in danger, to defend against them.

people are stupid and lazy and would rather scream and run around and wait to die. police will show up eventually lol
if more people carried guns, there would be a hell of a lot more crime resistance for all crimes in the country.

the guy started off killing the principal in his(her?) own office after arguing a bit.
not a single child had to die that day. many staff members were there.
