it's a rifle, it's more accurate and has better entry than a pistol. higher velocity too.

also, if the bank tellers had guns, do you think they would've stopped the two shooters in the bank? if the 30+ people in the bank had guns, would the shooters have been stopped? the loving POLICE couldn't kill them as the two walked out of the bank. you're handicapped.

they won't stop using them, but if they get caught with guns in public, then they go to jail.

what they mean is to tighten the registration process to be able to own a gun
it's harder to get a drivers license than it is to get a gun license. that's loving stupid.

in a school, those threats shouldn't be present anyway

the guns were stolen from his mom. she was a legal owner of them.
he himself didnt even have a criminal record, if he wasnt impatient he could have gotten all the guns legally for himself.

and wh7 do people need an ar-15? no idea i dislike those rifles. but many americans believe its thier duty to arm themselves against a possible unconstitutional federal coup over the states. (that is the point)

i myself have a short tactical 870 in my home. i cant hunt with it, i cant carry it around.
but if someone broke into my home late at night i intend to splatter his brains all over the wall.
a handgun would not be helpful to me as i am defending far more then my life in my home.

No one other than law enforcement is permitted to have a gun on school grounds. It's a federal law. The janitor, teachers, kids (esp.), principals, superintendent, parents, food delivery men, you name it. Teachers should carry maces, however.

Also, how is saying that maybe a post about a story on a gaming forum--mainly populated by teenagers--isn't the proper place to argue over gun laws stupid?  Maybe we should actually discuss what happened and the media surrounding it, not a broad issue such as gun control only using a single piece of evidence.

I'd carry a gun too
but my point is
it's unfair to tell them that they must have one in case of stuff like this
it'd be better to just remove the gun from the gunman in the first place
